September Transition Information
At Coquet Community School (CCS)/ Coquet Community School (from Sept 2026), we recognise that transitions are exciting, but can also cause some anxiety.
To support the transition process, we invite incoming pupils to join us for the day during our annual transition day/s.
This will provide an opportunity to meet your child’s new form tutor and make new friends within the year group.
In-year Transfer/ New Starter Information
Not all pupils join us in September and often transfer to us at other points throughout the year. Whatever point your child joins us we are committed to supporting them to manage the transition. Our team of PSOs will:
- meet you and your child
- provide a tour of the school
- liaise with previous school
- support you to complete all of the relevant documentation
- support with uniform
